RE: what is the most comfortable touring seat for a ultra ??
The one and only one that fits your butt!
Would suggest you find someplace near you that may stock some and try them.
Dealers or independents. Or ask if some one you see would let you sit on theirs to get an idea.
I was going to buy one or have mine modifiedfrom mean city and the like last summer,
but didn't want the freight and down time and the back and forth if it wasn't right the first time.
So took mine to a local custom upholstery shop.
He marked it while I sat on it, I went back when he had the cover stripped and he was relaying the foam. He made a custom cover and I took it for a ride. This was in 2 days.
Felt ok ,but said I would let hime know after 500 miles.
Took it back after a couple 200 mile rides and about 800 on seat.
Explained my pressure points and he adjusted for free.
Total cost $450.

WHICH SEAT IS THE BEST? - CLASS ROOM STUDIES 101

THERE ISN'T A SEAT MADE THAT WILL FIT EVERYONE CORRECTLY
The ROAD ZEPPLIN however might be a top choice for your needs as you can adjust the cush for your tush as needed... One Draw Back is that the Zep WILL sit you higher in the saddle then your OEM Seat & most other Aftermarket Touring Seats
