Default No running lights or brake lights but signals work??

Need some help here guys, got my bike back from the shop and now the running lights and brake lights are not coming on, however both signals work fine. I won't be able to get it back to the shop until Monday and don't want to be riding with no taillights, so I wanted to see if anybody has fixed this problem before? Thanks in advance!

Also, I already tried replacing both bulbs, neither were burnt out.

Does your speedometer needle jumps all over the place and your turn signal doesn't cancel on its own as well? If so, all of your problems below are all related. I remember this happening to my 2002 Road King. I can't remember the fix for this, but it didn't take much for the dealer to fix it.

check the easy stuff out first. fuses. the brake lights and the turn signals are on different circuits so one could be working while the other doesn't. had this happen to me on my roadking.

Default No brake lights

Had a similar problem on my 07 Road King---had to look twice but it was an accessory circuit fuse.

Well i replaced the brake light fuse and they started working for about half a day and then it burnt out again so I'm assuming it must be a short. Electrics is not my Forte so I will be waiting until Monday to get it fixed, however I do have a box of fuses I could go through to last me the weekend!

Same issue on my 2011 heritage. Ended up having the front turn signals in wrong. They were dual filament bulbs and only went in one way. One was brighter than the other.
Also took out my fuel guage to...
I know it sounds weird but they were all on the same power wire.

Default Similar problem but just one side.

Hello all, This is my first post ever and appreciate anything advice y’all have, and sorry in advance if I am lacking in all this.

my 2008 Ultra Classic has the rear bullet light bar on it. On the left side only, the running light and brake light doesn’t work but the blinker comes on as it should. Iv changed out the bulb but no luck. I work on vehicles a lot but this one is giving me a headache. I’m assuming it could be a pinched wire for the running/brake function but can’t find one. But since it’s just one side doing it I shouldn’t have to trace the line back too far yeah? Any suggestions?

2008 Ultra Classic
