Default Below light license plate bracket.

I have a 2012 Ultra Limited, 11k miles on the clock. In 2013, I purchased the quick release kit for my tourpack. I also relocated the license plate from its original position to beneath the tail light (Street Glide look). Yesterday I lost the plate and black metal backing plate while riding. Luckily, I retraced my route and found it intact in the middle of an intersection. It looks like it broke at the bolts. Has anyone heard of this happening?? Amazing how this has never happened with my Duo-glides and Generator Shovels...

Thanks!!

Yes it happened to my 2010 Road King - replaced under warantee - they must have redesigned the part because it never happened again or on my 2012...

You might consider attaching a piece of foam to the backside the the replacement bracket to keep it from shaking from vibrations.

I bought the Kuryakyn relocation kit with SG style turns last year and the kit came with the foam for that reason.
