With the proper lifting technique, you won't have to have your wife help you lift your bike the next time.....In short, you put your butt against the seat, grab the bike by the bars with one hand and on the rear somewhere with the other. Bend you knees and take baby steps walking backwards till the bike is upright. Just be careful not to flop it over on the other side.
Using this technique, I'll bet your wife can lift your bike while you wipe away the tears.

I was so close to dropping my yesterday. Had to park partly on some sidewalk and turned too far to the left, with the clutch in I was unable to turn the bars straight and was screaming 'I'm gonna drop the bike'. Fortunately my boyfriend came running and caught it before the bike and me went down.
It was a good lesson for me. Think before slow speed turns when parking. Next time I'm going to park the bike further away rather than try something stupid.

I had mine jump out from under me in deep sand going up a buddies dirt road once. To make it worse I had nine stitches in my right forearm and couldnt lift the bike. I had walk a few hundred yards to his house, knock on his door and have my buddies come pick it up. Felt like a sheethead. It happens.

Yep it happens.
I dropped mine 1 week after I had it. Nice audience of 20 people. Slow turning right ot park and touched that front brake and down she went.
I had watched the video on how to pick it up luckily and I picked it up effortlessly by myself. If I hadn't watched that would have had to have help.
Almost just dropped it again a couple days ago. Backing into a parking spot and my foot hit some loose gravel. Watch out for that to.
