Default Attempted to support Local but $427?????

Have a shop close to home and have heard good things but got a quote today on a ME880 and Lyndall pads in the rear.... Said they were giving me a great deal at $427 installed. Seems a bit high to me.... Anyone else think so?

BTW they were giving me the tire for $206.....150/70/18

Brake pads are a piece of cake if you have a jack. Heck, if a raging dolt like me can do it, you can too.

The tire is less than 150 online. Just a choice can you put it on yourself or is it not worth the hassle. My neighbor has a machine so we do ours there. Pads the same, easy to do.

My local dealer wanted $408 just to change the rear tire. So if they are doing brakes too then yes its a "good" deal relatively speaking. I mean good like they decided to at least lube up before raping you.

I just paid $270 for a rear tire that an accessory store mounted and $31 for rear EBC pads that I installed.

Tire: 150
Mounting (off bike - cyclegear): 35
Pads (do it yourself): 44

230 to do it yourself basically.

You're the best "deal" you'll ever have.

Of course I'll do a Stator/regulator replacement for 150 bucks, Apes mounting/wiring for 200.00, and oil maintenance for 25.00, so I'm a pretty good deal too.

Thats what I figured... I have a jack and could definitely do it myself. I guess I will be calling around tomorrow and seeing who has the best deal for mounting. We have a cycle gear close to home.

Also, where can I find the tire for $150... I have looked and cheapest is 202
