Default How to clean 2009 SG headlight "the inside of it"

My headlight is not a sealed beam and is almost 6 years old. I've got the headlight out of the bike and the halogen bulb out of the headlight housing.

The headlight housing has this nasty fogged up look to it.

I have the access hole from the bulb to pour something in there to swish around to hopefully clean the inside of the housing. Has anyone successfully done this ?

What can I pour in there that would get rid of this fog?
Regular windex ?
Vinegar?

Would that even work or do I need to get a new housing from the dealer?
Thanks

A search for "clean inside headlight" brought up several results. Here's one.

Nice....I searched 2009 SG headlight cleaning or something to that affect. I think I always put too many words in when I search. Thank you for the links.

Pour a little rubbing alcohol in and swish it around. If need be put a alcohol soaked lint free rag down through the hole and use a stiff object to move it around to clean inside surface of lens. Can use needle nose pliers or the like to remove rag.Just be sure not to get finger prints on halegen bulb.Only handle it by the base.Your lens will look like new after cleaning.

When searching a broad subject don't use too many specific search terms. Use the K.I.S.S. method.
