Default Laconia on my Big Wheel Bagger!!

I ride a 2014 Street Glide Special with HHI trees and Glenndyne 23/18 set up.

I'll be honest I wanted to go 26 but went 23 because I was scared to cut the neck on my 14 SGS. This was before AS released their bolt on kit. But another fear of mine was losing the drivability of the bike. I ride this thing and I ride relatively hard.

Just got back from Laconia, over 1000 miles in 3 days. Rode Hurricane Mnt, Mnt Washington, Bear Notch, Kancamagus and Route 100 in VT. After doing 70 mph twisties and 100 mph on the highway today I can say I'm thrilled with how the bike rides and handles!!

I mean I saw some 26 or 30 inch set ups but how much were these bikes ridden? Mostly just saw them parked on the strip. AGAIN not trying to insult anyone, would love to run a bigger front wheel, but unsure of the final ride.

Here are some pictures from my trip!

I'm still on my stock wheel.. I want a 21 and that's about it lol.. Mainly cuz I'm to cheap to want to spend the money on a wheel

I just changed out my wheels, with a 21 on the front now. What I have noticed is straight line riding, especially at highway speeds, the bike is more stable. I am guessing its from the larger front wheel creating a better dynamic balance.

The tire has a smaller footprint.

I found just the opposite with my 21 on my FXSTC that I was more susceptible to being pulled here and there w/the 21 as opposed to the 16 that I put on.

Nice ride. Have logged a lot of miles. You don't see big wheels ground pounding. For the most part you see someone taking them off a trailer. I don't own a trailer, I ride mine. Good to see you ride yours.
