Default How often do u use leather conditioner on your seat?

I know, probably a stupid question I will get a bunch of crap for, my apologies. Curious how often u guys that have real leather seats use leather conditioner on them. Have had my leather c&c seat for a few months now and apply leather conditioner normally once a week when I detail the bike, am I over doing it? I like the seat having a nice clean look though, and after a few rides the drivers area will look dry, so I like applying leather conditioner often for that nice new leather look.

Its an expensive seat so I don't think you're overdoing it. Mink oil on leather, Armorall on vinyl and keep them parked out of direct sunlight for any length of time (like when at work.)

Might be overdoing it. There is foam behind the leather. I have done mine maybe dozen times since I have had it. 2004. However, it no longer gets left out in the rain at night since I retired. I just use some 50 year old neatsfoot oil from a can I had for my hunting boots. (it should be like fine wine by now?) HA.. my bags do have some sun damage

I have a Springer with everything leather and a Heritage with leather bags but vinyl on half the seat. I use conditioner about once a month. A seat maker told me to do them monthly, if anything to save the stitching from getting tight and warping the leather and vinyl.

I probably don't put conditioner on mine often enough. Probably only every once in a while when I get a scuff from my boots or something like that.

Been using Dubbin on all my leathers for decades. Jackets, boots, seats, belts, you name it. Made originally for horse tack.

Yes you are overdoing it. Couple times a year unless they get really soaked.
