My owners manual says under regular service intervals
Engine oil and filter 1k, 5k, 10k, 15k, etc.
Primary chain case lubricant: 1k, 10k, 20k, etc.
Transmission lubricant: 1k, 20k, etc.
Everyone decide to skip over my post where took a screen capture of the Harley website? If you change all fluids at 5k intervals..... Your guy's $ whatever.....
I wonder if all the threads lately, and over the years, about transmission bearings going bad, inner primary bearings going bad, compensators going bad, etc, correlates to not changing fluids for 10-20,000 miles in those components?

I doubt it since everyone changed all three holes at 5k.

Dear Buelligan666
I have a '05 RK. Your chart is for a 2011.....might be the cause of the misunderstanding.
I just change it all at 5000 miles. I always do it myself anyways. Easy to remember, and adds minimal cost to the oil bill. I've already got it on the lift, so what the hell.
