Sena SMH10, Zumo 660 and iPhone 5s?
Ok, I have been looking for a cure for my iPhone 5s w/Zumo 660 and I am wondering if anyone else has experienced this problem. I have also search the Sena forums with no results. Anyway, the unit works good, music sounds good, gps sounds good but when I try to call someone of my iPhone 5s, they sound like their over modulated and it's extremely hard to understand a conversation. Doesn't matter where I put the volume! My iPhone 5s does sound great without using the Sena setup! Have any of you had this problem? And yes, I did contact Sena to ask for help but they usually take a week to respond and I will be back on the road by then...thanks.

If your Sena has FM radio. My Friend test this set up the other day and loved it. He uses a Sena 20s with a Zumo 665 w/XM and an iPhone. He does not use the CB. He plugs a FM Transmitter into the Harley headset plug and runs a usb power cord to the cigarette lighter. He pairs the phone to the Sena and Zumo so on the zumo he can see who is calling, push the zumo phone button to answer and end calls. The Sena FM radio is tuned to the radio station selected on the FM transmitter. You can also use voice command thru the Sena for the phone. This will work on any Harley with the headset plug.

My wife and I Have that setup. My phone is an iphone6. Everything worked but as you said there was an issue with the phone aspect sound was not right. She found that there was a software version that was causing the problem. Go to there web site make sure it has the newest firmware. We have had our units for, this is the third year. Have had I think 3 to 4 versions. Each one added something good and not so good this last one seems perfect. Give it a try.
