THe fisxed fairing takes about 20 minutes to get used to and you’ll never think about it being odd again. I’ve heard people make comments like, “I couldn’t deal with the headlights not turning with the handlebars”.... ... ... like on your car??

Which bars are those?

1. Yes, they really are that awesome.

2. Handling is superb. Semi-trucks and crosswinds are non-issues. Tar snakes/grated bridges are subject to tire selection.

3. Fixed fairing is the secret sauce. No freaking out at all, and it's very easy to adjust to.

So, don't wait...DO IT!
+10, just made the switch last week, on accident. But VERY happy I have the Roadglide a chance. Rides better than the batwing I came off of, which rose much better than the softail before that.

Default RG

How's 2 up riding and the wind factor with the passenger. With the way the setup is in the RG looks like wind would come head on...............

I love my RGS.
But be prepared to change the windshield and seat (if riding with a passenger).

Aside from my VIN indicating an FLHXSE, my Street Glide is now 100% pure Road Glide. I didn't know much about Harley's when I bought my bike, I'll admit that. However, after riding a Road Glide just once, I knew I was hooked. So, I did what any sensible person would do - converted the bike. Why sell/trade just to get a VIN that says something? From the neck back, the bikes are identical.

Harley encourages us to make it our own, especially with a 1000 page catalog.

How's this? Have you ever seen another one quite like this?
