I bought the Calibiker cheapos. You will need to buy magnetic doors from HD (the HD ones fit), otherwise the storage space is worthless because the snaps are plastic crap. The finish isn't HD paint, but if you're just looking for some cheapos to shield your legs and provide some really nice storage, they are fine for a black bike. Haven't had any problems with cracking.

Thanks, PackersShirt! Yeah, the bike is gloss black, has already saved me some money on painting.

Actually they are vinyl but work fine. For some reason they do not recommend being used over 50 degrees F. I have a set but they are rarely with me when I need them such as in a rain storm. Think I paid $40 and embroidered with whatever you want on them. Got mine on eBay.

I've been running a set of Mutazu's with speaker pods for two years and haven't had a single problem. That said, I'm in Texas so I left the doors off since they aren't needed. I'd buy them again if I damaged one.

Thumbs up

I've had my Cali-Biker ones for 9 months with no issues. Bought their quick release hardware and all works well enough. I'm actually probably going to sell mine and buy a color matched Daytona Blue Pearl set.

I have no idea of the quality but know that I will find out soon. Well, at least right after my deployment. I had been watching these on e-bay for quite some time, went in last night and they had them reduced to $59.00, I couldn't pass them up. I don't know but there are some that rather pay more even when the cheaper things serve the same purpose and might be of the same quality and manufactured on the same line. It is just the nature of the beast that people correlate high price with quality, smh.

Check out my thread from the other day.

https://www.hdforums.com/forum/touri...-solution.html

Just went through this and I had a cheap solution to the mounting. These are the lowers I bought for $88
