Does anyone have a Danny Gray Big Seat with the backrest? How do you like it? How about pictures? Thanks.

 

I have a DG Big Seat on my 06 Street Glide and I love it. I didn't get the backrest, but I got the model that accepts a backrest if I want one. Took it on a good 150+ mile ride the other day and I really liked the feel. I ordered direct from DG and got the saddle gel and nice stitching. Looks awesome! Great people to deal with a DG as well. I'll send you a pic, I don't have any on this computer.

 

Cool beans! I'm getting ready to get the big seat with the backrest. Is the backrest adjustable and removable? Did the seat lower you any? I've a 30 inseam.

The seat does lower you a little, I have a 34 inseam. The backrest is removable and I haven't ordered it yet.

Nice seat, thanks! I just found out that the price on the DG website is wrong. It shows 399.95 for the seat with backrest, but actually, it dosen't include the backrest but only the backrest receiving hardware.

On the positive side, DG is giving the military a 20% off!

Will the DG Big seat cover the OEMbackrest mounting hardware?

 

It does on mine. I have the plain DGBig seat and the seat does cover the hardware. DG supplies hardware to bolt on tostock seat post and then Big seat has onenut holding it on.
