Street glide over road king. Go ride a road glide before you buy it's the best riding harley out there period...........That's a real nice lookin' bob you got yourself. Britt '07 road glide black

They don't call 'em "Road King" for nothing! I've got a RK Custom with a Dragonfly fairing. That way I can have both the "Street Glide" look or the Custom look with the fairing off.

I'll throw in another vote for the Street Glide! You get all that you need with the SG and nothing you don't need. The stock seat will suck for 2 up riding however.

Judging by the fact that you have the "bob" you might want to consider the Road King Standard. It has the locking hardbags and a nice big shield for long trips, yet comes off in minutes for short around town riding.

Best of luck in your decision!

Regards,
J.B.

I am very partial to the RK, but in your case if your keeping the Bob for short hoppin, you could go with a fix fairing bike for the longer hauls, storage and features. IMO Electra Glide is the better buy if your going to add a tour pac to the Street Glide, and the Roadie is the best all weather, long range bomber...

I bought my RKCustom, and now I kindda wish I would've bought the SG. I don't know, I think the SG is really just a RK with a fairing and everything that comes with the fairing. But, I like the idea of buying the detachable fairing, just gotta get my wifey to open up her purse, if you know what I mean... As they say, to each their own, and GOOD LUCK!!

Road King Classic cause it looks awesome and has that nostalgic look like the softail deluxe plus the RKC comes with cruise control. Or you could go with what my father bought...FLHTCUSE2.

I was looking at getting a road king for a couple of years. I told myself that when they come out with the 6 spd I would start looking into the RK. Well on the way to sturgis I saw my first Street Glide....WOW. I was sold, I bought one a monthafter we got back! No regrets, I love it. My vote is for the SG obviously......
