Why is my battery tender light yellow?
*** UPDATED, see last post ***
So, I have the HD 800mA waterproof battery tender that I use on my 2012 Ultra Limited when it's parked in the garage. For the last month or so it never goes to green but stays at yellow. If I unplug it from the wall and then plug it back in it goes to green but, if I unplug it from the battery harness on the bike its lights up yellow and basically stays yellow.
When I take it it off and go for a ride the bike starts right up and during riding when starting and stopping never have a problem.
At first I was thinking that my battery was on the way out but now I'm starting to think its the tender itself.
Any thoughts?
Thanks

Usually a solid yellow light means it is charging but the battery is below a certain charge...then it should blink green (think at 90%), and eventually solid green (100% and monitoring). A blinking yellow means you have a bad connection or something and it is not charging. I always get a solid yellow when I plug in...but I do not always have it on the tender.
Correction: I did have a time when it stayed solid yellow and did not change. Found out it was an incompatible wire adapter/connector that I was using from an Antigravity jumper/charger.

I was having this same issue a couple months ago. It ended up being a bad pig tail on the bike side. Swapped it out for a new one and haven't had any more issues with it. I have 3 tenders I use for other stuff in the garage and I moved them all around and they were all working. That's how I figured out the harness on the bike was bad.
