Street glide seats

For me, the two things--'good looks' and 'comfort' run at odds with one another. The more of one you get, the less of the other. I've tried ten or fifteen seats over the course of the years. The most comfortable of those I've tried were the HD Sundowners. The least comfortable have probably been the stock seats.
In my book, 'good looks' equate to low profile; 'comfort' equates to being able to ride at least 100 miles without stopping, and without starting to 'squirm'.
The solution I've pursued is to get one of each: a good looking seat, and a comfortable seat. I use the one when I'm 'local', and the other for long trips.
Your mileage may vary.
I've found you can spend a lot of money (and some time) experimenting with seats. But common sense is a good indicator. For most people thicker/better padding, and wider, means more comfort. Let the debate rage on…
Good luck,
Alan

Im in the same boat right now. I have a badlander but I want something better for me and the wife without ruining the look. The seat I want is the cvo roadglide seat with the diamond stitching. But that's on for newer frame bikes. So im looking a lot at c&c solo or sport tour and mustang solo tripper.

I use the Mustange wide touring. I have tried several different seats and the Mustange always ends back on. It seems as though once your *** finds that magic mate there is no changing. I personally think that all the Harley seats that come on the bikes from the factory suck.
plus 1 on that.

I opted for the HD Tallboy seat; sits me back 1.5" from stock, same height, and it sits the lady up about 3-4" and the 2-up pad is crazy cozy for her. We love it, my only complaint is I have a skinny *** and it's actually a bit too roomy.. I'd like to get it restuffed with better materials.

I actually find the sg seat comfortable. I can ride on it all day, no problem. I guess coming from a suzuki s83 cruiser, any touring seat would feel good. I did get an ultra seat from the classifieds here on hdf for under 100. I only use it if my wife or daughter want to go for a ride. I feel like I am sitting up too high and am not as comfortable as with the sg seat.

If you ride, fit means more than looks. Only you know what your butt likes the most. Best thing is to try them out.
Harley dealers will have seats to try out. Might be easiest if that works. As far as looks, many of them are not leather, if that is important to you.
If you're going to any of the larger motorcycle rallies, most of the popular seat vendors will be there, and they have seats to try out.
Looks like you're in San Carlos, which is about 70 miles from Corbin in Hollister. You can order over the phone/online but they'll also custom fit a seat while you wait.
Corbin is what I happily ride on. I've had about 5 of them on different bikes. No problem doing 1000+ mile days, and I think they look good too. My '14 SGS first time I went with heated, and can't believe how much I like that feature. Gets a little cooler, just flip the heat on, and don't need to pull over for another layer of clothing. They are stiffer than most seats. I like that doesn't feel like a marshmallow, but some people feel different. Try it out.

Rather than throwing darts at a wall, guessing what would fit, I went to Mean City Cycle and got measured for their seat reshaping. I like the look of the stock seat, but it literally left my butt bruised at my pelvic bone after a 2,000 mile ride. I'm looking forward to getting the work done in July.
