No worries. If I hadn't had this friend, I wouldn't have done anything but maybe a cam. I'm pretty tight!

Also, I'm probably one of the few that likes HD parts. I figure they have been in the game long enough that they have enough R&D to make some solid kits. I chose a different cam because of the dealers recommendation. Said it didn't have the best low end power. The 777 is nice, but it takes a few more RPM to be in the sweet spot. If I could change anything, I would have found a cam that would kick in sooner. With that said, it is a blast to ride and I will keep what I have.

I'm not certain that the claim that the 777s come on late is supportable by the evidence - here's my 107, stock heads, 777 cams, 10.25cr, dresser duals.

The tech said the 259 in the kit came on late and recommended the 777. If you look at my dyno sheet, I don't get over 100tq until 3000 rpms. I do believe the 777 is better than the 259. Maybe the difference in 107 and 103? Either way, I am happy with the results. I just keep it in a lower gear longer, and

good one Pepper1, nothing wrong with Harley parts, that kit performs time after time

some people don't have access to porters, engine builders etc to do work,

good reference for people to see how that cam performs in the stage 4 race kit, i am very happy with the 259e but keep my eyes open for the tman 590 as an experiment
thanks
