I have a 04 and the motor is still 88", I picked up a set of stockers from a 2013 103" and there is a pretty big difference between these and the 2004 stockers. The late model are lighter and have a larger hole throught the muffler, I figured mufflers for a 103" would act like a more performance type on my 88" motor, I also have Supertrapps and really cannot tell a difference in power .

Same here. Now that I can actually hear something besides exhaust (after installing Supertrapp Supermeg) I hear the motor rattling. It's going to take some getting used to.

04 road king, basically stock. Has stock electraglide pipes, i think. Very quiet, and i like that.

But im wondering if its ever been identified which mufflers were/are the very quietest?

If there were something even quieter, I'd be game for them.
I would think you'll have a hard time finding anything quieter than what you already have

I just switched over to the new Fuel Moto E Series 2 into 1 exhaust. The last 30 years of of running loud exhaust have taken a serious toll on my hearing and I decided it was time for a change

This is a great system. Significantly quieter than the true duals I have been running but still produce good throaty sound. Best of all I got a noticeable improvement in performance especially on the bottom end. I think this pipe will produce numbers comparable to anything out there with only a fraction of the noise
