So I finally decided to look for a smoother ride and after a lot of looking around, I traded my '07 Heritage for a '13 Road King. Other than some extra chrome its bone stock...let the mods begin! Stage 1, exhaust, cams...

Congrats. I had a tough time going from a heavily modified high horsepower bike. How does it feel riding the new scoot? Is there a stage 2 in your future?

All I can say about the ride is smooth and quiet. I like the smooth very much the quiet not so much. I need to do my homework on cams. I will probably go back to the Bassani, I like the exhaust note. Fuel management is another topic I need to study. I'm sure I'll miss the extra HP but that's for the future.
I'll probably end up doing some work over the long New England winter. For now, I'm going to put some miles on the new to me RK, and enjoy stock for a little while.
