Easy, if you can still find the radio shack chimes. You are looking for Item 273-071. It'll have three leads on it. Black for ground, red for the headlight and blue from a power source that is only on when the bike is powered running. I think I have the red and blue correct. You can find the directions online and I'm sure ebay has some of the chimes too.

I'm not sure where you could find a power line that is only hot when the engine is running though and this will be the trick and I'm too lazy to get out my wiring book and study to see if it exists. The other option might be a micro switch under your seat and when weight is applied, it keeps the buzzer off.

The easiest option though is to just make it part of your mental checklist. Maybe cut a small hole or use a hole punch and make a hole where your headlight it.

Don't use the handle bar kill switch.

How about a pretty good sized mirror in front of where you park your bike, at least until you break the habit?

I'll pile on to this one: Use the ign switch, not the handlebar switch...

Sure it would be easy to do, use a relay, with 12v off of your ignition switch hooked to terminal 30, hook your buzzer to terminal 87a.
Hook terminal 86 to your run switch, terminal 85 to ground.

Unless you're just throwing a sheet or blanket over it, I don't see how in the world you could put a motorcycle cover on the bike and not see either the headlight or tail light when you go to stretch it over the fenders and tires.
Do like others said and just use the ignition switch to start and stop it. Just leave the kill switch in the run position. At least until you start covering the bike with your eyes open.

So when are you going to put it on?
I'm curious how it works.

I'll assume I'm in the smart *** comment group, but you're the guy who leaves his ignition on and drains the battery on his bike.
