Default Left side disaster " compensator etc

After 3 failed compensators it's getting ridiculous. This time it was the comp, clutch and the auto adjuster cracked. Luckily extended warranty on it and they are replacing everything in the primary, BUT I insisted this time around that they install a Baker Manual Adjuster. I have to pay for the Baker adjuster but I am so sick of break downs and noise it's worth it. DAMN...
Rant over..

Are you seriously thrashing it when you ride? I am not seeing what would cause 3 primary failures on a 1-2 yr old bike. Has the dealer given you any idea what is going wrong in there? To break all 3 of those components would normally require some pretty high HP along with very hard running.

The chain tensioner got so tight it trashed everything including itself. it cracked it in half it got so tight and hot. No, I don't do burnouts or drop the clutch. I ride aggressive but within reason. I've had problems right out of the box from new. Factory misaligned the main shaft bearing and cross threaded bolts. After serious discussions with law involved, they finally came clean and are replacing all of it minus the top end and tranny. Bike has 37 thousand on the clock. Disgusting.

I do burnouts and drop the clutch on my 12' all of the time and I'm on my original. I am trying to figure out if anything helps/hurts the longevity but the rate of failure is all over the place.

I wonder if the comp going out is really a symptom, and replacing it wont solve the problem.

Here's a question - if the runout spec on your crank is out of spec, wont that cause a lot of stress on the comp?
