Think amber makes more sense. However, convert and change to red since more light makes more sense. Get the winkey brake light too. If the cager misses that, he's probably blind (which is OK of course now in our no offend society) or drunk. Noticed most new cars are coming back to red. Must be those lady engineers.

Got the 14 RK last year and my big project was upgrading the rear....still looking for what to do w/ the clunky stock rear light bar.

Currently its stock light bar (amber turn) w/ the led run/turn/stop lights on the hard saddlebags. I don't have the red stop module on my turn signals...just stock amber..only come on w/signal.

I had several folks saying that the rear is very attention getting w/ the amber turn signals going w/ the led turn signals.

But still...I want to upgrade the rear and getting lots of ideas from this forum and shows.

I don't like the rear amber but have to admit a mix of red/amber is attention getting.

You can have the best of both worlds with the Kuryakyn Panacea LED Taillight System.

Don't see a fitment for the 14 and up Rushmore bikes with the canbus system.

I installed the Custom dynamics lowdown rear light (blackout) and the red turnsignals with smoke lenses.

Blacks out the rear nicely on my black road king and when used, the lights are extremely bright.

Next step is the CD Smart triple play controller from CD so I can get brake/running lights.

Law allows red or Amber and if I'm not mistaken, must be red if used as running lights? (Rear not fronts)

Want to upgrade the rear lights and may use the running/ turn signal module for more lights in the rear.
If you have a red LED brake or running lights that pulse, i'd go with amber to get it noticed on the back.

Added run/brake/turn module and coverted to red with blue dots. Also changed fender tip from run to brake only.

I'm running all smoked lenses with red bulbs on rear with turn signal run brake harness. All smoked out when bike is off. All red when bike is running
