The best I could do was MSRP on a base model. But since they didn't have the base model, I got the security system and a set of bars in the deal. I more than made up for their "loss" by buying a tach and cruise control. So, no need to feel sorry for them.

After several dealers say they will beat the competitions price you would think you could just keep playing one against the other, but that ends pretty quickly. Some chrome dollars or getting them to cut the freight and set up charges is about the best that can be done around here.

Well, I went and wrote the check out yesterday. The FLHTCi is MINE! Bought and paid for! I also noticed that the bike had laced wheels which we had NOT figured into the price. The original MSRP was based on another bike at another dealership which didn't have the laced wheels so when I asked dealer #3 to match the price, he did. So instead of getting the bike at MSRP minus $1000, I got it at MSRP minus $1450! I'm a happy camper! I'm having cruise control installed as we speak too... only having to pay for the labor. I'm loving this dealership already!

hi everyone, I plan on buying an 05 roadking. Checking prices at dealers they seem to vary quit a bit. Is the msrp about the best deal I'm going to get. I figured this time of year, in the land of 10,000 taxes(MN) I could swing a better deal. Whats the norm for these dealers??

I live in MN too, check out Faribault HD, great to deal with.
If you are looking for price and are getting accs. go to Albert Lea HD. They also sell at msrp but with accs. at 15% off and a shop rate of only $40.00 per hour to put on accs. Just a thought for you...

I got my '05 RK at $632 off of msrp, -15% off the Stage I parts, and cruise control, Corbin at dealer cost...of course we "negotiated" for almost 3 hours and I finally ended up keeping my '04 1200R; would have eaten my lunch on her-what hardlee resale? Of course I am glad I finally kept the Sporty, despite having a very quick and highly entertaining Vtwin in my Suzuki SV1000N. DFO

Designer,

I edited you post so that you can see how to post without thumbnails...unless that is what you are trying to do...thumbnails don't tell the true beauty of your bike!

Essentially, just use the real address...edit your post and you'll see how it was done...
