??? on SE slipons
I did a search and really didnt get much info. Does anyone have more info on SE slip-on's #66080-06. I'mcurrently running SE #64910-99 and there not what I wanted, too loud (believe it). I just wanted abit louder then stock. I have a chance to trade for a set of #66080-06 and I can't seem to find out much info.
My concern if they are going to be louder then stock and if there a decent pipe. Any feedback would be greatful, Thanks

RE: ??? on SE slipons
the 98b's are the ones you want....plenty loud,,but not obnoxious. they are also non epa and will allow most any build kit or set up. they are a discontinued model but they are available as left over stock. you may have to shop around to find them. my dealer had ten sets left. i put them on my 07 rk classic....very pleased.

RE: ??? on SE slipons
I have the SE Street Performance Touring Mufflers (64985-07). Stay away from them. Performance is fine but they sound like crap, IMHO. Sounds like I am riding a damn Volkswagen. As soon as I can I'm gonna swap them out for a set of Rinehart or V&H Oval slip-ons...

Wags1 there is a quarter sized plug in the SE mufflers that can be drilled and pulled out. It helps them some. Now this was on the early models and i'm not sure if the new ones have it in there or not.
