Default ??? on SE slipons

I did a search and really didnt get much info. Does anyone have more info on SE slip-on's #66080-06. I'mcurrently running SE #64910-99 and there not what I wanted, too loud (believe it). I just wanted abit louder then stock. I have a chance to trade for a set of #66080-06 and I can't seem to find out much info.

My concern if they are going to be louder then stock and if there a decent pipe. Any feedback would be greatful, Thanks

I just installed some 65115-98b's on my 06 UC and am really pleased with the sound and performance. I had Rinehart TD's on before. They were just too loud for my taste.

the 98b's are the ones you want....plenty loud,,but not obnoxious. they are also non epa and will allow most any build kit or set up. they are a discontinued model but they are available as left over stock. you may have to shop around to find them. my dealer had ten sets left. i put them on my 07 rk classic....very pleased.

I could be wrong but, Supertrapp made the SE Pipes for Harley and Supertrapp stills sells them under the SE name.
At least thats the ones I have and love em.

I have the SE Street Performance Touring Mufflers (64985-07). Stay away from them. Performance is fine but they sound like crap, IMHO. Sounds like I am riding a damn Volkswagen. As soon as I can I'm gonna swap them out for a set of Rinehart or V&H Oval slip-ons...

Wags1 there is a quarter sized plug in the SE mufflers that can be drilled and pulled out. It helps them some. Now this was on the early models and i'm not sure if the new ones have it in there or not.

How can I tell if it there or not? Can I look in the pipe and see it or do I have to pull the baffles out? I did take a look at pulling out the baffles but they llook to be pop-riveted into the can.
