Security System troubles

Threw the towel in
Well,
Couldn't for the life of me figure why the security system fritzed. Everything that was suggested here and elsewhere had been tried. But trouble is the TSSM isn't active to do all the enabling it's supposed to...but why? The module itself ??? I dunno. So, a call for a tow to the dealer to figure this one out. Oh well. I'm hoping tomorrow I'll know what the problem was and I'll post it. Then I'll start my own "GoFundMe" account to pay for it. Actually, this is the first real problem I've had with this bike. Not too shabby for an '02.
Thanks again to all those who offered ideas to help towards the solution.

I had a problem once with my 02 Ultra. Came home from a ride and shut it down to open the garage door. Went to start it back up and it would only run for a second or two and then shut down. Towed it to the dealer and they said that they had to remarry the ECM and the TSSM. Never found out why it failed. Never had another problem.

Still waiting
I can only hope my situation will be as simple. The dealer wasn't able to get to it today, so looks like next week sometime. If I get the chance I'll drag out the '78...it's a lot of fun anyway!
Be safe and everyone enjoy your three day weekend (if that's your case), and may we take a few moments to reflect on those who paid the ultimate price in serving this (still) great country of ours whether armed forces, police or fire department personnel.

So the long and short of it;
As a recap to the saga, all the efforts posted by members had been tried to no avail, but thanks again to everyone. Finally called for a tow. Dealer says the TSSM is bad, and I do believe it based on the symptoms. It was stuck in a mode where the system thinks somebody tried to steal the bike, rendering the start circuit inoperable, as it should. However, it was stuck in this mode and wouldn't recover. I opted for a simple TSM replacement as to not have to deal with security issues again and pick up the bike tomorrow. Cha-Ching!
