Default I want Stretched Bags, but I really like OEM Fender??

Hello all, greetings from So-Flo,

I have been researching stretched bags, and have not found what I am looking for... I just want the same shape and style as OEM (but longer). I have Rinehart 2-into-1 which also adds to my troubles. I'm not sure i like the look of : one cutout on one bag, and no cutout on the other.

Also, do I HAVE to get a stretched rear fender, or can the OEM be long enough to not look ridiculous next to stretched bags? I really like the OEM rear fender, with the LED Tri-Bar as well as the turn signal/brake light bar. I also like that it is solid steel, and not fiberglass, which in youtube videos I can see shaking due to engine, etc...

As many bikes as i see and research, I am kinda lost on this subject. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Ride Safe and Ride Often!

Go with the factory Harley ones. Theyll run ya about $1200 but the fit and finish is perfect.

The finish is perfect once you get all the orange peel sanded off.

Guy has 2.75" stretched bags from Drag Specialties and the street glide rear facia. Looks killer to me

I agree with you, op. The aftermarket fenders seem weak! Not just flimsy. Someone should make an extended factory type fender, or something.

Looked at pic of extended bags with factory fender. Way too much gap. In my opinion.

You can get a Bad Dad Matador fender to match the stretched bags. Its like a filler piece. Looks just like a big fender without having to replace your OEM.

This is the route I am going

I picked up these from Eastern Performance. They're VTwin CVO style bag bottoms. They've got a great finish and didn't require much prep from my painter at all. I kept my stock fender too. I like the look and didn't want to mess with the whole rear of the bike.

This is my take as well. If you're keeping the stock fender, the CVO bags don't look to bad.
And from Eastern Performance, they are pretty reasonable.

V-twin Mfg CVO style bags. $340 to my door. Had them painted. Brother-in-law was impressed with the quality and minimal prep he had to do. I added the Street Glide fascia to my Electra Glide fender. He filled the antenna holes and holes in the fender from the old fender tip light.
