Default rocker box leak repair

I have 99,600 on my 09 Ultra and just noticed a leak on my rear rocker box cover. Not enough to drip to the ground but enough to be making a mess. 4200 miles on this oil change and maybe lost 1/4 quart. has anybody had any luck with retorquing this or am I going to have to pull it apart and replace the gasket.

Doesn't hurt to try to retorque, but my experience says you'll end up replacing the gasket.

+1. I would go ahead and get a top end gasket kit.

The bolts under the top frame tube, are a major pain in the butt to get to, they make a special wrench with a hex key in it that makes this job much easier.

This is very easy work but to properly re-torque the rocker support you'll need a crows foot adapter - it's tight in there. But... many have done this:

"A 1/2 inch flat wrench makes a great torque adapter for the rocker supports. Just put the torque wrench 1/2 drive into the open end of the flat wrench and turn it 90 degrees to the handle of the torque wrench and use the closed end on the bolts."

just noticed one on my front cylinder, appears to come from the right rear cover bolt as when engine is hot, revving it, a little run comes down from that area, is hard to see with tank on. is still under warrenty, but summer coming and shop likely busy, and also I do not trust them that much as my dad had bad experience with them. am thinking on buying gaskets and doing my self, but in event is a bigger problem, am afraid they may try to void warranty.
would be appreciate for any advise.
PS is from the cover, not the support box.
