So if I just drive over in the truck and happen to pick one out, then how would I get the bike and truck home without the trailer....

Yeah, not an easy task! You must be close to Longview or Tyler judging from the miles. I was going to guess Bossier city before you said Dallas. In a few short months, I'll be residing near Hallsville.

Just leave your truck there. Ride it home. After the wife gets free, hop on the bike and ride up there and have her drive the truck home. A great way to get some break in miles on the new ride. So what color are you gettin" ?

Man this is a tough crowd over here in the Touring section about useing a Trailer for anything. lol But hey guys I'm really proud my custom bike trailer, Plus it gives me a chance to turn the wheels on it as it just sits there 99% of the time.
heavymetalthunder, I'm not sure on a color yet, I am a sucker for Black & Chrome bike big time. Just have to see...

That's a lot of cash also just sitting there. I figured roughly $570,000 in msrp cash anyways I figured half specials half regular, not counting the extras dealer has put on them. I haven't decided if taking a trailer is a good idea or not. On one had the dealer knows you are serious and not just a tire kicker wasting time. It also could mean that they think they already have you sold on a bike and might not give you that great of a deal on it.
I've took a trailer and 3 dealers watched me leave used bikes at 15K over a $500. difference, they thought it was sold too.
This dealer knows he has the selection, not wether you're a buyer.
