Default Red Calipers

A co worker just purchased a 2015 Road glide special with all the trimmings and it really looks sharp. I really liked the red calipers and was looking them up at HD online and 499 for the pair didnt seem to bad, but way more than I can spend on just a color change.

So I got to thinking about painting mine and saving a whole lotta money and found the last can of red caliper paint at my local auto parts store.
Nine bucks and a hours labor, let em dry over night and Im pretty happy.

I painted the dust screen black to while I was at it. I still need to do a little fix up like clean the bolts off but Ill do that in couple of days when new brake pads come in.

looks good.....i've been kicking around adding these to my bike too (have a bunch of chrome cash built up, because i always end up buying online versus a dealership....)...was also thinking selling the take offs would ease the $499 price a bit...and could probably get cheaper at one of the online discounters...
