Default Mustang Summit Seat- 76860

Anyone try this seat year in their touring bike? They look good. I'm curious on seating comfort. Thanks

I have their regal (pillow top) touring seat in a box in the attic. For me its ok, but its mostly flat and my hip bones started feeling it after an hour or so. I'm 240 lbs. Someone lighter may be more comfortable on em.

I know it may seem a strange question but I would like to find out how regular such summits are

does it fit the standard tourpak well?
On the Mustang website they say:
Note: Specifically designed to fit all '14-later Rushmore models due to its wider passenger seat, but will also fit any '08-'13 FLHR, FLHX and FLTR models without a Tour-Pak or saddlebags. Vinyl cover has a deeper gloss-black color compared to other Mustang FL Touring seats. Seat will fit with handrail.”

I had one. Didn't care for it because it sat me back too far. I was reaching for the bars causing shoulder discomfort. I'm 5'10"

Mustang seats are firm. That I liked.

Do you think 6’ would feel same discomfort on the seat?

Best way to try it: buy one on Amazon (make sure it's a Prime vendor). Try it, keep it or return it. I did three different seats before settling on my Regal Super Touring.

It would depend on your reach. Have no idea of my arm length, but I'm not small.

I have the Mustang Summit model: 76862 which is the Studded Version on my 2018 Road King. .
It replaced the stock seat which was too soft, too confining and too close to the tank for comfort.
The Summit sits you back about 1.5" and is slightly tilted backwards which is perfect for me at 6'-1" tall.
I find the firmer Mustang seat much more comfortable than the softer stock seat or overly padded aftermarket models.
Your passenger will also appreciate the wider perch.
