Default Injector question 2014 FLHX 120R

I've been learning about tuning to try and resolve some issues with my latest dealer tuned Dyno.. While browsing the current map from within SESPT, my injector settings show as 6.683...

Now I don't know right from wrong, but every 120R file I have compared so far has them at 5.3-5.4....

Can this be right? In my limited knowledge and research the past few days (tons) Ive never seen that high of a number. Just curious.

EDIT : come to find out from a random dude on the internet who turns out to be working at a sister dealer in KC, who took it upon himself to pull the work orders on my bike, that Im running a 64mm TB with 6.7 injectors.... THAT, I didnt know... which explains the entirety of my problems.....

man, I get more help from some guy in KC Ive never met than from the dealer Ive dropped near 40k into the past 5 months. Ive been trying to find out what they built this engine with for the past 5 months...

I think you have too big of an injector. I had a similar issue on a stage 4 (non HD build)103, the TB I used had a 5.4 inj I think. Anyway it wouldn't run worth a crap had a 10:1 AFR and fouled plugs as I tried to break it in for a dyno. Had it tuned and the tuner told me those injectors were more for a 120 build. So your 6.7 injectors would be major overfueled. My $.02. But after the dyno and adjustment it runs like a rabid ape. Keep us posted.

Yeah we are thinking the same thing. I'm in Colorado at altitude as well, and 5.3's would be a much better choice regardless of the TB, I think; and that's been echoed by the 2 guys who have been helping me out.

I just got my 120R on the road two days ago and have put 280 miles on it. It works fantastic. I choose the 6.2 injectors and 62mm TB and heavy breather. The Super Race tune was set on the learning mode and not a specific map. It has the 10.5 to 1 pistons and not the 12.5 to 1. My goal was to have it more streetable that pure drag racer. I does have the most radical SE cam. I choose the lighter Street Bob as the platform for it.

No need to dyno. It will just adjust to its use.

The first tank was 38 mpg and the second was 40 mpg. I did not get it for mpg of course. Mpg is a great indicator of the progression to a fully run in motor and it's learning curve by the ECM of how it is being run.

The engine runs as well as any TC. It does feel like a 110 on steroids though.

Thats awesome, congrats on the new ride... what Tuner are you using? my bike new was running fantastic until I had the 1k Service done and a new Dyno, and right now its really not that bad, but it isnt what I think it should be; but Its getting figured out. Im also learning tons about my SEPST, so Im gonna keep that for the time being.

i did find out that the Work Orders for the build for my bike are incorrect, and I actually have a 58mm TB and it has 6.7 injectors, so thats probably the source of my issues. I live at altitude, so that just too much fuel for me.

When they tuned mine I thought I was going to have to put the stockers back in, but he was able to reduce the fuel delivery across the board between 25%-47%. Which brought the fuel delivery back in line.
Only comment was the spray pattern may be different, but who knows if thats really an issue.
I would say at your altitude, you definately have a too much fuel issue.

I remember my origional 103 with 510 cams when running thru Colorado in the 5k-6k elevations the bike was running really smooth. Maybe its a sign to live there. lol
