68 Tooth Rear on '04 RG
Asking this question for somebody else, so thanks in advance.
I think stock is 70, but is there a rear pulley off another bike that is 68 and will fit? Also, I know on a dyna 2 tooth + or - is max before needing a new belt.....same on an '04 that has the cam style axle rear adjuster?
This bike see lots of track time, so he's looking for a simple rear pulley regear instead of chain conversions and pulling the primaries off.

Wow, awesome thanks for the response fellas! So 2 tooth + or - is fine w/ stock belt then for adjustment. Want to make sure that the older cam style adjuster will accommodate a 2 tooth drop to be adjusted enough.
What year sporty rear pulley are 1-1/8" ( sorry not to familiar w/ sporties)that will work for an '04 bagger? Part number by chance anyone?
Got to love the forums!!!! Thanks fellas!

Op
Dont mean to sound out of line, but if your considering changing the front sprocket, why not just change to a 1 inch belt when your in there?
Would open up some additional options maybe.
My 04 s still running the original size belt but when i go to replace im going to a one inch for greater clearance so i can run a 180 rear tire.

Trying not to have to open the primaries if I can do a simple 2 tooth drop.....simple on dyna w/ option of either 68 or 70.
This is a drag/go fast bike, so any addition strength from the 1-1/8" belt I will take opposed to the 1".
If in facts her is not enough adjustment in rear wheel for 2 tooth drop we'll just add a tooth to the main drive pulley.
