I have three pair of the 13" air shocks, one set has less than 50 miles and another has 5K and another has 12K and all were less than 6 months old when taken off. PM me wth an offer if you are interested in a pair. They are all capped and can be shipped with or without the airlines.

I have a 2014, so it's a little different, but not really much. I have the Premium hand-adjustable shock (standard) and it's great. I'm at probably 430# loaded with me and wife (without stuff packed in bags).

The seat did suck. I bought a C&C solo and a wide rear pillion for the back. I have a driver's backrest and she has the sissybar. She has sat back there for 8-10 hour days and been fine except for being a little cramped as she is 5'9" (I'm working on lowering the rear pegs).

Sounds like an easy choice to me.

I like that pillion in particular because it doesnt seem as tall as others.. so I shall look into it.

I had a chance to pickup that shok on craigslist for $275 but missed it.. Im inclided to go with the 944 and pay $600 because I think Im gonna have this bike until the day im below grass. Reason being is I get the same travel as the 13" shock on the ultra and it sits at stock SQ height. WIN WIN.

Anybody need a car scissors lift? $600

Default FLHX 2up

If you are going to ride 2up most of the time the Limited or ultra is the best answer! You can try and make the Street Glide work but it is made for the lone wolf! If you can trade for the right tool for the job and be done with it! IMHO

Its the same bike.. the only difference on the suspension is the rear shocks/springs.

Get a deal on some stock longer shocks. A guy has 3 sets, can't be that much to try that first. Unless you are flush with cash of course then pull the trigger.

Let us know what you did and how the passenger likes it.

And the front wheel, which is larger diameter with a lower sidewall tire...

Also harshes up the ride a bit.

Not sure how tall you are, but I love
My HD tall boy seat and so does my wife when she rides with me. We have done 3 hours straight without feeling like we needed a break, followed by another 5-7 hours of hopping. If I did longer rides, I'd probably get a gel insert, but don't feel the need at this point.

Point taken but I feel NOTHING in the front.. rides super smooth up front.

But yep, you are right.
