What aryou guys doing for antenna on extended fender
I just pulled the trigger on a set of fenders and extended bags from thefactorymatch.com After ordering I went back and looked and it appears there is no place for an antenna on the new fender. My reception already sucks so the idea of hiding the antenna is not appealing. Anyone run some sort of booster or what is the alternative?
The sad thing is my aux port on my HC is acting up and only the right speakers play so I prefer the radio.

I made a mount for the antenna to bolt to, mounted it low right above muffler, then zip tied the antenna along the fender strut behind the saddlebag. You cant see it, but it gives the same reception i had before, so it works for me, i got the idea from a you tube video.

I tried the hidden antenna and it was useless. I am beginning to think I need to replace my head unit because the aux port is not working correctly and I have never had good reception. Either way I will still need to find a way to mount the antenna. I am going to watch the video and see what they came up with.

Closer to 5k this go around. lol Bags, front and rear fenders, side covers, new pipes (old ones will not fit through bags) and Air ride. I'm broke dang it.. I will check out biketronics. I have been eyeing a set up on Fleabay that has a different head unit with bluetooth and maintains factory controls.
