Default the difference between tour pack options

Hello this may be a dumb question but I'll ask anyway. What is the difference between the solo and the two up tour mounting options. A picture example helps too.

I have a 2000 flhr and I want to install a stock harley trunk. I am looking for a stock look.

Two up pits the backrest behind the passenger, solo moves it forward. To be behind you.

Solo moves the tourpak to where the passenger would sit... effectively eliminating the passenger pillion.

Mine is in the regular spot, so I can't lean on it while riding.

Still no options for an adjustable tourpak for both two up and solo riding? As far as I understand it's either one or the other?

no, there is at least one, though i can't remember right off who makes it. it allows the tourpack to slide all the way forward for solo, or back for 2 up. a little pricey at over $1100 though
