I dig it, the color combo and stripe scheme makes it look way more aggressive than the silver/blue. Nice work

Not criticizing, just offering a different POV.
Thanks for all the great kudos and feedback.

I toiled over all the things you mentioned, I even masked it off down the front of the fairing, but I wasn't sure it look good, especially with all the curves in the bezel, it was really hard to keep the lines straight. They looked straight to me, but it's so hard to tell until it's painted and un masked. So I ended up just doing the top.

I was thinking about doing the inside of the bezel black but was afraid that my masking lines would be wavy.

I may not have described what I was thinking very well...

Pardon my poor photochopping skills....
But this is what I was thinking:

Tank , rear fender and fascia sprayed green yesterday, and sprayed the stripes today.

The rear fender has been fighting the whole way, first iwth pulling it off, having to fill the holes from the fender to light, and today, the masking would not stick. Finally got it sprayed, and I had some issues with the paint sticking an the very bottom of the fascia, some of it peeled up when I removed the masking.

Going to have to sand and re finish the bottom rung.

Later on I will get the tank and dash together, and will get the fender on without the fascia. And get the wheel back on.

Looks like it had be going on for a while from the look of the patina on the copper wires - you have to be happy you caught it before you put the rear fender back on knowing now how much you enjoyed that process
