Just checked the page.
Looks like what you have is the following:
- Ride Core System
- Secure Kit
Is that all?

The page mentions -
* The Ride Core requires a cellular data plan.
Is this a separate plan from the Cell Phone Plan or you just need a cell phone to link to?

Thanks,
Myron

Yes, I have the core plus the secure kit. The core is the actual alarm system. I guess the best way to describe it is that the core has a cell phone built into it. This is how the emails and text messages are sent to you and also how the bike is trackable. The cell service is $10 per month. The secure kit adds a siren to the setup, a key fob and proximity sensor. You could feasibly just have the core kit and control the alarm from your app, I just wanted the convenience of the fob.

Also, if you're in to ride tracking, this thing automatically maps out your every move and displays your speed and direction on a map. You can also view your trip in video mode with real aerial view.

Question Alarm

If you still have a Radio Shack close to you in business, you can purchase an alarm with a + & - lead. It cost me $5.75 to put one on my road king about 4 yrs ago. There is a plug already on your bike underneath the right side cover. I just stripped the wires and shoved them into the female plug and duct taped the alarm inside the box. The alarm sounded like a warble police siren and the alarm is about the size of a pack of cigarettes. This was 4-5 yrs ago so I don't remember the name on it if you had to buy one somewhere else.

Thanks for the reply.
Will go the full route as well.
The added features would be nice.

Thank you.

I ordered the factory module online, then paid 1 hour labor for dealership install and program.
