In the case of a legal dispute over whether something was delivered, or its condition at delivery, it might make a difference if it was signed for by a minor.

 

I got mine from Howard, front and rear. His service was fast, he returned all my calls and even called me a few times with updates on what was going on with my parts. I thought he was easy to deal with. I had tried some of the other options out there, with bad outcomes. I will be a Motorcyclemetal customer from now on!

 

Got my 2-#2B installed and adjusted today, they rode good for the 10 mile I rode them...hopefully will get a good ride in this coming weekend.
Howard has been helpful to me. I was very torn because there are so many good choices.
I will give these a good ride Memorial Day weekend with the wife on as well in the NC hills.

I'm a TECH in a different industry, but ft/lbs, Inches, center to center doesn't change. I ordered my 3-3s from Howard after speaking with him on the phone. Had a couple of questions - he answered the phone and answered my questions. He's busy, but he took the time and once he realized I had the correct tools and understood concepts, we had a short conversation and all was well.
Like Joe Friday said - "Just the facts". Busy people, especially techs, don't usually have time to kiss-*** and make all goo goo, but will make time for valid questions and concerns with people who are truly trying to solve an issue. If it's just a gripe session, no point.
I'd definitely deal with Howard again.

 

I now have about 1000 miles on my 2-3B "Blacklines". As they were only adjustable for pre-load, I spent the first 500 miles dialing them in (post sag setting). I ended up taking out more pre-load out to get the ride quality very plush.

They do feel a little softer now that they're fully 'broken in'. I've made a few tiny tweaks to the preload, ended up giving it a full turn of more pre-load over the weekend, but they're THERE now and I'm happy with the results, both in terms of ride quality and value / $.
