the steed (RKC) after putting on the rider backrest!
So far the backrest isOK, need some time to figure out which height works best etc. But the first time I lifted a leg up over the saddle in front of the backrest and just slid over...well lets just say that's the last time that will happen! I'm not a tall guy, 30" inseam. [:@]Those of you that have a backrest...ever take it off?

Nope...never take it off. I step between the tank and the backrest, and haven't nutted myself yet. (not much taller than u , btw).
My son is about 5'1".....when he gets on the back, and has to maneuver himself between the tourpack backrest and the driver backrest....lets say I heard him howl a couple times....

Technique: mount from the right, by supporting right foot on the floor board, squeeze thefront break, stand-up and then throw the left leg over the seat. Dismout the same way.
