Chrome does not bring you home. But to me it always looks good.
My painted inner fairing missed something. Added some chrome and see the difference by yourself.
I do agree with most of you in the fact that - oh shiny...
There is a fine line however it's your dime and your ride - make it scream what YOU like! As for me, there is a box at home with about 25 little chrome accessories just calling my name...
...but like anything else it can get overdone. Chrome needs to be placed tastefully. IMHO a bike drenched with every MoCo or aftermarket piece of chrome available looks cheezy, or the TTH syndrome (Trying To Hard) For example I just installed these chrome gauge bezels last night. Again, IMHO if I were to add the available: speaker, radio, and indicator trim pieces it's going to look overdone.
I agree 100%. I am very picky about what I will put on the bike. Just because it is sold doesn't mean I need to buy it. I've taken chrome off and added black but I have also added chrome. To me it is all about finding the right balance.
Yes I too am a certified chrome *****. Just installed Chrome Enforcer wheels front and rear. Chrome forks are next.
2010 Limited with some stuff
Those wheels look great. The chrome lowers will really set them off. One of the best things I added before I left the dealer. Now if I could afford the wheels...
