Here goes my dumb question of the day! When reinstalling your Axel on the front wheel do I need to use axel grease or never seize, or leave it be the way it is? Thanks
BTW I meant installation....damn spell check
There are no dumb questions when it comes to maintenance for the bike and your safety. Always lube the axles before you slide them through the spacers and bearings. Use wheel bearing grease or anti-seize. You haven't lived till you've had to use a 4 lb hammer or a sawzal to remove a frozen axle shaft.
I've got a blue bike and use JCB grease. It's waterproof - and blue! I've just used a decent grease for such jobs since the dawn of time - well almost that long!
