I got 2 AE's for my Limited online for $353 and then the dealer charged 2 hours ($180) to remove wheels, mount new tires, balance, and put wheels back on the bike.

$543 total to buy, mount, and balance both new tires...

Next time, I'm gonna look into mounting my self..

I paid $500.00 for two Harley/Dunlop 401's changed out including balancing on my 2003 Dyna. Danbury, CT Harley did the work.

For a stock rear on my '14, it is $350 out the door at my dealer.

Jake Wilson usually wants $330 to your door for American elites for 09 up bikes. Most bike shops want $30 a wheel if you take them off yourself or $100 a wheel if they take them off.

Hillyea, i just got a new J&S jack in yesterday, just watched a youtube video (How to change your motorcycle Tire)...one guy used a shovel and zip ties, chitt it can be done, use Dyna Beads and I'm done.
Thanks guys for all your suggestions, HD already got enough of my money..

I just paid $600 for a set of D408/D407 Dunlops to be installed. Next time I'm going to pull the wheel and just have the tire installed. My dealership said they'd mount the tire no problem.

Here's the video I saw that explains how to pull the rear wheel:

Yep, just ordered a front and rear Dunlop American Elite for my 2011 Ultra from Jake Wilson. $315.98 and it was at my door in three days! Plus I'll be getting an additional $50 rebate from Dunlop.
I have a NoMar tire changer (Jr Pro), so installation is done at my convenience.

Did the same thing a while back, next thing I knew I was in the tire business, freinds of freinds were calling and stopping by my house.

Sold all the stuff including my custom made bead breaker and now I just take it to the local indy and have him call me when it's ready.

The local dealer is not a viable option, these folks think way more of their skills than I do.
