Before Stage I, 38-42 mpg. Most mileage comes below 65 or 2800 rpm. After Stage I, about 37 below 3000 rpm. I think the HD download starts pouring the gas into her above 3000 rpm. If I run at 75 I get about 35 tops.

I was getting 33 with Sunoco. Yesterday I filled up with Gulf and got 40. Go figure?

I pick a gear that has me riding at 2500 rpm. Whether it's 50mph in 4th or 75mph in 6th, I try to stay around 2500.

My optimal cruise rpm is one that does not wear me out in 20 miles.Have always made the sprocket change to correct it.
