Ha! I'm having Legend Revo-As installed as well on my SG. Been considering a Tru Track, but haven't really needed it yet. My intention with my suspension upgrades is to increase my Lean angles. I scraped twice in some canyons a few weeks ago 2-up,and I didn't feel like I was really over that far. The new combo should be a great improvement over stock.

How does the 21 affect you at over 100mph? I ask because I have a best friend who works at Harley and he's siad that 21's have an adverse effect over 100mph, and I had voiced the desire to get a 21 up front to raise the bike a little.

Go for the true track, you've gone this far. Honestly I think the true track made as much of a difference in the handling as the suspension upgrades. Really makes the bike feel rock solid going down the road.

as far as triple digit speed stability, I believe the the problems arise when you put a 21" wheel, raising up the front end 1.5" throwing off the trail angle , the 2" lowering brings the trail back to stock specs. Plus the wide 3.5" wheel really helps with the stability as well. I've had it up to 115 with no problems at all, smooth as silk.

BANG!!!

That's the sound of a nail being hit on the head. You take one OR the other; looks or function.

No matter what you do, with that set up I can't imagine the ride wouldn't be noticeably degraded.

Great job!
Thanks K., just like you are saying, when 1st I did did the 21" with the gold emulators , 1" lowered, bike was not noticeably different in ride. But, but the same techs didn't do the install of the wrap around fender &do viously has no knowledge of the RaceTech fork springs with gold emulators. I did contact RaceTech, didn't get answers there like when I purchased over 6 six years ago. That also will tell I have been riding 21" front wheel for quite awhile with no problems until now. Thought I would get positve responses from folk that may have screwed up like did this last time. For you guys that did try to help , thanks.
Going forward I'm spending more and put in less thinking ,save the oil in forks, and doing the front with Progressive Suspension Monotube Fork Cartridge Kit.
I know folk that has gon this route with great success, not a lot of guessing when installing.
Trial and error..........

ahh don't worry about the naysayers, the idea you cant have looks and function is absurd.

So am I understanding you had the 21 and 1" lowering kit for 6 years and only started having problems bottoming out when you installed the wrap around fender? The new wrap around fender should be fitting more snug to the tire then the stock fender.

Either way, if you decide to go with the monotubes you will be happy you did.

Best of luck

Well I went with a 23" and wrap fender and Progressive lowered springs with thicker fork oil and I don't notice any loss of rideability or comfort, just love the way my RK rides, also lowered the rear using Bitchin Bagger shocks as got a short inseam lol

Nice lookin ride! Like you I have a 23" Renegade on my CVO with the Ness raked triple tree, lowered and Progressive monotubes and was out on it all weekend and it rides better than my stock 12 SG - no wobbling, no issues.

Correct in the 6plus years. I do not know or understand why the springs were dealt with to begin with , but obviously they were and threw the settings off. I could tell because my feet were flatter on ground than before tampered with.
But I have been getting good feedback from the MonotubeMonotube users, like yourself.
Appreciate your comments. Bike by the way is slammin !!!!

My weight is 220. So would you suggest the heavy fluid or medium, for a little softer but pretty good handlling(cornering)?
That 23" is nice. Bike sits real good. Thanks.
