Question Anyone painted their fairing vent to match?

Was thinking about doing this, and then saw one done at my dealer. He had both the front part and the inner fairing part done. Looked really nice.

Now to find a painter....

I've been wanting to do that but haven't seen one done in Amber Whiskey. Do you have a picture of the one your dealer did?

There are some painters that can paint them to match but in order to do that the paint is very expensive. My painter friend just did a job that included the lowers and some other parts and the paint alone was $500 for two pints. Unless I had other pieces I wanted to paint I would just buy the painted inter fairing from Harley and call it good. By the way, the job my buddy done just happened to be Amber Whiskey and it turned out very nice to say the least. Good luck with your choice

I'd be doing Amber Whiskey as well. I don't have a pic, but I'll be up there this weekend and the bike is the dealer owner's bike, so I should be able to snap a pic.

I asked Paul a couple months ago about painting mine and he stated he may start painting them in the future, but wasn't at this time.

To clarify, I have my Amber Whiskey inner fairing and I love it. One of my favorite upgrades. I was looking at the painted vent. Not sure whether to paint it or buy the chrome one.

Ok here are the pics of the bike at the dealership. This is the dealership owner's bike.
