Default Need replacement Rear Rotor - OEM or aftermarket?

Our 2011 Ultra has 24,000 on it. Every now and then I hear the back rotor dragging a bit. Asked the dealer if it was normal and they claim it is. Now the rear rotor is warped and needs replaced.

Oem or aftermarket? Not worried about it being all polished up. Live on a dusty road and its on the rear. Cannot hardly see it anyways.

Just looking for Performance and durability.

I'm fussy about brakes. Our Brembo-equipped bikes have a chance at good brakes but, IMO not with the ... OEM rotors. Oem do not center and warp much too easily. Quality, truly floating rotors and eom calipers gives good brakes. Start now. I have ebc. Very happy.

Just for grins try and find a floating rear 11.8" rear rotor. I was told enlarging the holes on a front rotor to fit the rear is not a good idea due to the rear rotor being thicker than the front rotors.

I have EBC rotors on my bike, however the factory floating rotors are fine and come with a bonus - new fixing screws. If your brake has been dragging, clean and check your caliper pistons for correct operation. No sense replacing the rotor and repeating the same problem! In fact celebrate your new rotor by flushing new brake fluid through all brakes, if you haven't done it for a while.

If that picture is of the rotor that they send and it is truly is 300mm then that is the first one I have seen. I have not seen one in person though. Hope it really does exist cause my stocker is pretty sad, lol

That's the rear I have, my fronts being the same style, but having only five 'spokes', which suit my SG wheel a treat!

That pic also is the rear GBC I have, but my fronts are a bit different than gr's. You can sorta see the fronts in the attached pic.

Hmmmmmm. I'll have to check those out, or hope Galfer gets off their *** and makes a rear 300mm wave floater to match my fronts pretty darn soon.
