The reason I have Galfers is I have ridden a '14 equipped with Lyndall matrix rotors and pads on the front.

So what makes a floating disk better?

They are far less prone to warp due to heat.

Thanks for great the dialog. I ended up ordering the EBC Rotor and pads.

Planned on cleaning everything and replacing all of the front and read brake fluids.

Should be good to go.

Any reason to replace the rubber line at this point?

One more thing. 24,000 miles on it. Heading out for a 3-4K trip to main in the summer. New drive belt or not? Looks perfect.

As qt says, they also isolate the heat generated in the friction surface from getting into the hub and bearings. They are particularly great when pointing down an Alpine pass and whizzing through countless hairpin bends!

Braided lines will sharpen up how your brakes feel and give a little extra effort when squeezing them. My Buells came with them stock!

Your drive belt should last a very long time, it is virtually no maintenance, except for occasional inspection and adjustment.
