I just stopped by my local O'Reilly's Auto Parts in the Phoenix area and found Mobil 1 V-Twin 20W50 on sale for $8.99 a quart! I thought that was a pretty good deal and thought I would pass that along for anyone that uses the stuff. I think the sign said on sale through April 28th.

 

Advance Auto also has it currently on sale for the same price. Stopped by my local Autozone and they were price matching the $8.99. Picked up 5 quarts plus a quart of 75w90 Syn gear oil. Plus had my $20 autozone rewards credit to use = cheap oil change this time!

 

I got same deal at Auto Zone. Plus the rebate of $2 per quart from Mobil. Sweet deal.

 

Looking on the Mobil web site, I don't see Auto Zone on the list of participating retailers for the rebate.

Did you check the local ad, or just the online price? They're at $8.99 in the local ad north of Chicago. NAPA and Carquest are on the list of retailers participating in the rebate. If they'll match the price. . .

When I look up the locations near me to use it list WalMart and Autozone. They both match prices. With the rebate that would make it $6.60 per qt plus tax. The list you see printed online says that the list is SOME of the participating locations.

 

I can confirm the same for Texas down near the Galveston area. Advanced Auto, Auto Zone (who sometimes carry it) and O'Reilly's all are at $10.99 per quart.

Just checked on line with my local Auto Zone and found it in stock at $10.99, but ordering it online got an instant $2.00 per quart savings ($8.99). Best price for this I have ever found.
