Might want to turn on the Acc Switch and investigate for anything new and exciting that comes on.

There are 4 wires going into the acc plug.
Black - batt neg
orange/red - on with ignition
Red/yellow - brake
Orange - acc switch

If you have add on brake lights, or something that comes on when you switch the bike on, that might be what's plugged in. I use mine for heated seat and heat demons. I switched the pins on the seat to use the ignition on wire. I don't see the need to flip my acc switch on to then flip a switch to turn the seat or grips on. Hope that helps a little.

I think your first picture has it in it, the gray connector is B+, the one under it is the security antenna, and if you look under it and up on the picture, I believe I see the aux plug with the rubber plug in it. If not, have you looked in side panel? If something is plugged into it, it does not have to be on the switch, there are three hot wires, and only one is switched by the acc. .

Your second picture is definetly the ECU data port. As previously mentioned, this is where a PowerVision would plug into.

I agree with shooter's pics. I hooked up a USB power port to it and routed it under the tank to power my GPS and other electronics on the handlebar.

Like sanman said, you can connect a splitter for other stuff.

Default Yay!! I found it.

Yay!! I found it!!

Thanks everyone for your help. I was thrown off because I didn't expect it to have something plugged into it. So, as it turns out the optional brake light bar was plugged into it. I unplugged the brake connector and measured the voltage. Voila!! One of the pins was turned off ans on by the accessory switch.

Now I can use the accessory switch to control my Wards fans.

I'm so happy...

Default 2014 & 2015 Touring Bikes have 8-pin Acc Deutsch Socket

There is even more to this story -

2014 & 2015 Touring Bikes have 8-pin Acc Deutsch Socket in place of the 4-pin that has been in use since 1994.

However, since there are so many accessories that still have the 4-pin plug, H-D now supplies an adapter. It is PN 69200722

BTW - the H-D splitter for the 4-Pin Deutsch is PN 70264-94A
