Just a update on my plasti dip on my wheels and rotors. Did about 500 miles since I did the wheels and tires. And no issues at all. Holding up great on both wheel and rotors. 👍

Default Plasti Dip

I Plasti Dipped my trucks front grill back in 2012 still holding up strong (4 coats) with all the New England weather. Also been through numerous touchless washes without any issues.........stuff is amazing!

I've done all the badges, B post and wheels on my RAM. Year and a half, no issues, and I go through the regular power brush car wash.

Dipped a LOT of my bike with no worries.

Did my forks and rims a few weeks ago. Now after seeing this, the rotors are next. Looks great.

Living beachside the salt spray and salt in the air is horrible. My buddy dipped his forks on his 2014 SG and they look fantastic.

I think I will dip my RK for major holidays. Green and Red for Christmas, Orange for Holloween, maybe even pink for breast cancer awareness.

My next major project for PlastiDip will be my truck. I plan on dipping the entire thing, including the wheels.

Great job to the people who have posted their dip work. I think we should start a new thread on the touring section.....

Looks pretty good, and I like that it can be changed back fairly easily.

Looks nice! There's all sorts of ways people will tell you to dip but I am also in the "more coats are better" crowd. 6 proper coats makes for easy removal. I always had the best results with laying additional coats while it was still wet but that's another debate. I haven't used it in a couple years but I did dip my entire 2006 SG and everything held up well except for where my thighs met the tank. I also dipped engine parts and never had heat issues. Hopefully the rotor heat won't be an issue for you. cheers
